Pace-of-Play Policy

The Women’s Western Junior championship uses the checkpoint system as an integral component of our pace of play policy.

Players are expected to complete each round within a specified time allotment, including meeting each of the four checkpoint hole time requirements. Pace-of-play targets are printed on each player's scorecard, and the checkpoint holes are identified on the teeing area of each checkpoint hole. Players failing to meet the Women’s Western Golf Association's pace-of-play guidelines are subject to penalty, per the policy for both stroke play and match play.

The WWGA pace-of-play policy is reviewed with each player at player registration. Players are expected to have read and understood the pace-of-play policy prior to commencing tournament play.
